Nature landscape photography
Landscape photography nature need a preparation. This requires basically a little technique by varying the depth of field with foregrounds and backgrounds. It is not easy to give some depth to the image. In my case I go explore the place looking for the best view. Do not hesitate to take a few steps forward, backward, offsetting, to change its angle of vision.
Remains the
most important. The Light. The light will reveal the details, create shadows, illuminate the field , will brings the colors ; in the end it is the light that creates the atmosphere of the photo. Unfortunately we did not choose it. When you've got no time is not a fluke, but if you have time, then do not hesitate to return at to the same place as many times as necessary to capture the right light.
Believe me, there's nothing more frustrating than could not grasp a light at the right time because you were too late at the place.
It is very difficult to convey emotion through a landscape photography and it is even more difficult to teach others to take a good landscape photo. This is a personal connection with the place where you are. Everyone has his own feelings or not with the place he wants to capture. I often spend hours in the same place to feel part of the elements around me, in silence, before capturing the moment forever.
The best time to have a beautiful light is the morning before sunrise and the evening when the sun is below the horizon ... In general I always arrive an hour before the first rays of sun. It leaves me time to prepare my equipment, identify the location and especially enjoy this magical moment in silence.
What is more beautiful and stronger than feelingl the natural elements bringing to life around you at the arrival of the first rays of the sun...
Abstract and urban landscapes
A abstract photo is not really abstract litterally speaking. The picture is created with the elements from the real world around us. So, it's only called abstract because, I, the photographer choose a unusual angle to take the picture. The original has been transformed by my vision.
The city, the monuments, buildings, factories, are real playground for me. They put at my disposal all the elements I need to transform what I see in new forms, shadows, reflections, colors, either in wide range or close up.
The images you find in these gallery, highlight primarily a graphic design, mix of geometry and light.
Macrophotography
We are not alone! Tiny living things are all around us!
Macro, in my opinion, is the most difficult technique to implement. This requires appropriate equipment, in my case I only use a dedicated macro lens.
To have a good depth of field and sharp subject it is important to close the diaphragm, which prevents light from entering. That' s why, when you're taking photos at low light, you will need a tripod to avoid blured pictures !
Foremost I like to take every single detail of a vegetal and create a colored graphic effects. I like the blur of the image which provides softness and sensitivity. .
